Our co-executive directors Joyce Kao and Heidi Seibold were recently in Athens for the REWIRE kick-off meeting- a European-funded project making reproducible research practices a reality across Europe through practical tools, training and community.

And while deep in discussions about next steps, they also found time for a wonderful photoshoot in the artistic lanes of Athens- capturing everything DRA stands for.

Ik hoorde laatst een politieagent zeggen dat o.a. door de bezuinigingen op de GGZ, meer dan de helft van het politiewerk draait om "verwarde mensen".

The beginning of the month, when every junk producer's token limit resets, and we get a whole new wave of junk. Turning off PRs helped a lot, but they just started opening "test issue, checking if my API access is broken", or commenting or emailing their patches instead. I really wish I knew how to escape this without turning off community interaction entirely. #python #flask #opensource

@GeePawHill@mastodon.social I'm going back and forth on the fact my current profile lists that I'm a Christian. Not because I'm ashamed of Christ, or even being a Christian, but there are sure some other people using the term who I would prefer not to be associated with.

And there are a few Christian teachers out there who actually read the old testiment as the book it is rather than something to mine for pre-existing ideas, but they are rarer than I'd like. If anyone reading here is interested, Tim Mackie studied the bible as a scholar first and then when he became a pastor he started giving a series of talks he's now grouped under the heading "[Exploring my Strange Bible](https://bibleproject.com/podcasts/shows/exploring-my-strange-bible/)" because he realized most of the people in the churches he was teaching at had no idea just how different the bible was from what they thought. It is not a modern Western book written by or for a Western culture, and in fact (as you're no doubt aware), it isn't really a "book" at all.

@radio4392 @dsilverz I also took forum posts out of Hot in timelines outside Forums, because they had a big advantage and drowned regular posts out

@jonassmith Nice, but I think the title text should be more matter-of-fact. The page didn't burst, it simply isn't there.

Bonjour les barbouzes, ça boum ?

@DanielTaylor I don’t recall seeing an email like that, can you tell me the order number?
